Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists with assembling and compiling information/survey packages.
  • Documents findings. Inputs/retrieves/updates/maintains data.
  • Assists with organizing and presenting data collected.
  • Assists with compiling and consolidation of data for others to analyze/process
  • Assists others with drafting documents, bulletins etc. and data analysis.
  • Assists in maintaining data/statistics.
  • Assists with various office functions.
  • Answers calls, provides general information, takes messages and directs inquiries to appropriate staff to answer questions/handle requests
  • Collects data by distributing questionnaires, visiting sites, going door to door, asking participants/groups for information/opinions etc.

 

Key Qualifications:

Your application must describe your qualifications as they relate to:

  1. Currently enrolled in, or completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma program in business or commerce.
  2. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
  3. Experience conducting research and analysis and performing data entry.
  4. Experience in providing customer service to a broad range of stakeholders by responding to enquiries (via phone and in person).

You must also have:

  • Ability to identify and correct discrepancies in datasets to maintain high-quality data for reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of SAP software would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of data systems or databases would be an asset.
  • Attention to detail and strong data cleansing skills.
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a demanding environment with many competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as cooperatively as a member.
