The successful candidate is required to adhere to a hybrid work model, with a minimum of three days per week in the downtown office, in accordance with organizational policies and subject to change.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the organization’s transition to SAP SuccessFactors Story reporting, advancing the modernization of HR analytics and reporting capabilities. You will play a key role in redesigning and optimizing reporting assets to support the organization’s future-state analytics vision.

Leveraging deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, you will assess the current reporting landscape, document data dependencies, and develop optimized Story reports that deliver accurate, consistent, and actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with Technology Services (IT) partners, including BI developers, data architects, integrators, and platform leads, as well as HR business partners across multiple domains to clarify requirements, validate outputs, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution, you will help shape a roadmap that optimizes the use of SuccessFactors reporting capabilities alongside the organization’s emerging data platform. As part of a cross-functional team, you will support the transition from legacy tools and processes, while redeveloping existing SuccessFactors reports in Story to address the organization’s most critical HR analytics needs.

You will support the full reporting lifecycle, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, data mapping, prototyping, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support. You will also contribute to the development of reporting governance standards, data quality practices, and the long-term sustainability of the new reporting environment.

Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, structured problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a complex, evolving environment.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead the redevelopment and migration of HR reports to SAP SuccessFactors Story, including data mapping, prototyping, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with IT, BI developers, data architects, and HR business partners to define reporting requirements, validate data flows, and ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Translate complex HR business needs into clear technical specifications, reporting logic, and design documentation.
  • Analyze existing reporting assets, document data dependencies, and recommend improvements aligned with future-state analytics and governance standards.
  • Provide advanced technical support across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM (On-Premise), and SAP BusinessObjects, including troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reporting standards, and governance practices to support report lifecycle management and long-term adoption.
  • Support end-user readiness through training, knowledge transfer, and change-management activities related to Story reporting.

Key Qualifications

  1. Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors data structures, including EC, RCM and MDF relationships, with experience using the OData API Dictionary and API endpoints.
  2. Technical development experience with SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools, including Story, Canvas, and Integration Center.
  3. Hands-on configuration experience in SuccessFactors, including Manage Data, Configure Object Definitions, Manage Business Configuration, and related admin tools.
  4. Demonstrated experience developing technical documentation, such as functional specifications, data mappings, transformation logic, data flow diagrams, ERDs, and user guides.
  5. Experience conducting complex HR master data analysis, data validation, and quality assurance activities.
  6. SAP SuccessFactors certifications in Employee Central, Reporting, Recruiting, or related modules are considered strong assets.
  7. Strong User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience, including test case development, output validation, and defect management.
  8. Proven project management and consulting skills, with experience managing stakeholders, negotiating timelines, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  9. Working knowledge of SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and security best practices.
  10. Experience with SAP HCM On-Premise configuration is considered a strong asset.
  11. Knowledge of HR business processes and policies, with prior HR experience considered an asset.
  12. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  13. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  14. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
