As the Senior Systems Integrator, you will be reporting to the SAP Solutions Planning and Delivery Manager. The Senior Systems Integrator (SAP SuccessFactors Product Supervisor/Lead) will provide technical leadership to the City's SAP SuccessFactors programs and the SAP SuccessFactors Technical Sustainment Team. This role is critical to driving technical, strategic direction for the City's SuccessFactors implementation and provides leadership to the technical team that will support the project, along with direction to the SAP SuccessFactors Support team.
The Senior Systems Integrator (SAP SuccessFactors Product Supervisor/Lead) is also responsible for planning and coordinating sustainment change impacts and specialized work packages for the project, working closely with the Program Director, Project Managers, and other Stakeholders.
This SAP SuccessFactors leadership position is required to provide SuccessFactors capabilities necessary for delivering the project, working closely with business clients and stakeholders. This individual will focus on strong partnerships and apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the project on work packages related to SuccessFactors technical topics.
In addition, this position will oversee the Technical SuccessFactors resources and will assign work packages according to the business requirements. Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the SuccessFactors support team, ensuring effective teamwork and high standards of work quality.
- Oversee incident resolution, problem management, and escalations related to SuccessFactors Recruiting, Onboarding, and Employee Central.
- Monitor and manage system upgrades, patches, and release cycles in coordination with SAP and business stakeholders.
- Lead sustainment activities including access reviews, audit/compliance requirements, user provisioning, and continuous improvement of SuccessFactors modules.
- Ensure system configuration, role-based permissions, and integrations align with business requirements and IT standards.
- Provide technical and process guidance to team members, supporting skill development, knowledge transfer, and continuous learning.
- Supervise staff scheduling, performance reviews, vacation/overtime approvals, and disciplinary processes.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other City divisions to ensure seamless integration of HR processes.
- Track, report, and communicate performance metrics, system health, and key issues to leadership.
- Manage vendor and service provider relationships for support tickets and escalations.
- Responsible to senior management and stakeholders for project charters, plans, budgets, risk and change management, and progress reporting.
- Provide financial oversight on projects, including business cases, sole-source requests, and feasibility analysis.
- Implements detailed plans and recommends policies/procedures regarding program-specific requirements.
- Provides input into and administers assigned budget, ensuring that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations.
- Prepares and/or supervises the preparation of various formal contractual documents such as RFI/P/Qs, MOUs, and SLAs.
- Identifies and develops divisional/cross-divisional initiatives to produce synergies and economies of scale.
- Negotiates with senior management, clients and various stakeholders, often with competing and conflicting goals.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to SuccessFactors modules.
Key Qualifications:
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Systems Integrator Technology Services position include, but are not limited to:
- Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience overseeing or supporting the delivery of SAP SuccessFactors in a complex enterprise environment. Hands-on configuration experience is an asset but not required.
- Considerable experience supervising or leading teams supporting HRIS/SuccessFactors systems in a large organization.
- Experience in public sector or complex unionized environment is an asset.
- Solid understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Recruiting, Onboarding, and Employee Central, with the ability to engage effectively with technical experts and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and role-based permission models in SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM/Payroll or other enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
